Job Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screen existing and new markets to support target markets selection

  • Identify new product opportunities in selected emerging markets, initiate and manage upfront development and support.

  • Build strong network connections and enhance relationship with new and existing advanced development departments of customers.

  • Fill pipeline with new product opportunities (> $30million)

  • Achieve an annual target of at least $ 10 Mil of net new business

  • Support Gate Process and propose business cases 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required – engineering preferred

  • MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable

  • 5+ years of experience in a global, highly engineered industrial product

  • Strong knowledge of pricing, margins, discounts and overhead/cost structures

  • Strategic marketing and business contracting across the globe

  • Experience with engineering highly desirable. 


  • Superior organization and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, along with excellent communication skills to motivate and lead people at all levels within the organization

  • Must possess high degree of leadership and organizational skills and the ability to influence various functional groups in order to achieve sector goals

  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships at the director level and above that are key to the implementation of market strategies

  • Persuasive presentation development and delivery skills (internal and external)

  • Ability to analyze complex business systems and information from a variety of sources.  Integrative thinking is a must to utilize this information as key input into the strategic planning process

  • A passion for innovation and a desire to challenge the status quo
